This Privacy Policy describes how DramasMax (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information about you when you use dramasmax.tv and related apps and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Information we collect
You give us
- Account details such as email address and display name.
- Optional profile information you choose to add (avatar, language).
- Messages you send through the contact form or to our support team.
We collect automatically
- Device and browser information (type, OS, screen size) for compatibility and analytics.
- Viewing activity such as which episodes you start, pause, or complete.
- Approximate location (city level) inferred from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.
2. How we use information
- To deliver, maintain and improve the Service.
- To recommend dramas you might like.
- To communicate about your account, support requests and updates.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, analytics, customer support), and only to the extent they need it. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data and use it only for our purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect DramasMax or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale (in which case we will give you notice before your data is transferred).
4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Viewing history older than 24 months is aggregated and de-identified.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete that data.
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, plus optional analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used in aggregate. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings or via the cookie banner shown on first visit.
7. Children
DramasMax is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. International transfers
We are a global service. Your data may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms to protect those transfers.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular audits. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are material we’ll let you know by email or in-app notice before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
